TTC is excited to announce the key leadership promotion of LoriAnn “LA” Penman to Vice President of Human Resources (HR) on 1 January 2025. With bachelors’ and MBA degrees, she is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CCP). LoriAnn’s 20+ years of HR experience, of which for several years she supported the Hampton Roads Tidewater Peninsula Society of HR Management (SHRM) Chapter as a board member and certification chair has been integral to TTC’s mission to “take care of our employees” and our subsequent successful performance record. During LoriAnn’s six plus year company tenure, she planned, implemented and managed TTC’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), to include an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to automate our HR processes; this included hiring, on-boarding, orientation, training management, policy changes and other employee processes.
In this executive position, LoriAnn will lead and continue to manage HR personnel and administrative operations, specifically compliance and HR functions and activities for 100% of TTC’s employees. She will continue to oversee employee data, performance management, benefits planning and administration, training and development, employee relations, recruiting and retention initiatives, hiring and on-boarding, compensation planning and management, along with career counseling and outplacement.
